Artist Bio

Daniella Nassar is an award-winning Cypriot–Lebanese pianist and composer based in London. Born in Cyprus, she began her piano studies at La Ronda School of Music and Dance under the tutelage of Elli Gabriel. She earned a First-Class Bachelor of Music Honours degree in Piano Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, studying under Professor Yekaterina Lebedeva, where she was awarded the prestigious Silver Medal representing the Keyboard Department. She went on to complete a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, further developing her musical voice and interest in blending classical and contemporary styles.

Daniella is a laureate of numerous international competitions. Her awards include 1st Prize at the Stratford and East London Concerto Competition, 1st Prize at the Gladys Puttick Improvisation Competition, 1st Prize at the International Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition, 2nd Prize at the Watford Festival of Music, Speech and Drama, 2nd Prize at the Elena Aleksiejuk International Piano Competition, 3rd Prize at the Ealing Festival, and an Honourable Mention at the Young Talent Award of the Krakow Film Music Festival. She was also a semifinalist in the London Concerto Competition 2025 and a finalist in the Oticons International Film Scoring Competition.

In 2024, Daniella made her orchestral debut as a soloist with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra at Pallas Theatre as part of the orchestra’s Young Soloist Competition. She has also recently had solo debuts in Vienna and Scotland and will be performing as a soloist on a European tour this year. As both a soloist and chamber musician, Daniella has performed at major venues in the UK and abroad, including Wigmore Hall, Tate Modern, the Old Royal Naval College Chapel, Cutty Sark Studio Theatre, and Charlton House. She regularly collaborates with pianist Leonardo Timpano as part of the Asteri Piano Duo, giving recitals internationally.

In addition to performing, Daniella is active as a composer. She has written original music for film, television, dance, and live performance. Her scores have been screened at film festivals in the USA and Asia, including Oscar-qualifying festivals, and have received international recognition. Her recent commissioned works include a contemporary piece for cello, voice, and electronics that premiered in Cyprus in 2024 for a contemporary dance production. She has also been commissioned by the Dysart Colliery Silver Band in Scotland and will be composing a new work for them, which will receive its premiere this year. She is currently composing a new orchestral work commissioned by the National Children’s Orchestra (NCO), scheduled to premiere in 2026.

Daniella is currently working on her debut album, showcasing her dual focus on piano performance and composition. As of 2026, she joined Talent Unlimited as a Supporting Artist, continuing to develop her career as a concert pianist and engage with audiences across London.
