Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, Daniel & the Deliverance blend the heart of Americana with the fire of bluegrass and the charm of pop. Originally known for their high-energy bluegrass covers of modern pop songs, the band has evolved into a dynamic original act with the release of their debut album, The Art of Imitation—a genre-blurring record inspired by the likes of Billy Strings, Greensky Bluegrass, and Nickel Creek.
Think Barenaked Ladies meets Billy Strings: infectious melodies, tongue-in-cheek lyricism, and tight harmonies, all wrapped in jam-grass breakdowns and instrumental fireworks. With a sound that swings from playful to profound, Daniel & the Deliverance have built a reputation for live shows that get crowds dancing and keep festival stages buzzing.
The band features frontman Daniel Butler on guitar and lead vocals, Jonathan Knobbe holding down the low end on bass, Georgeanne Prescott on banjo, Dan Greisen on mandolin, and Andy Peck on fiddle. Together, they bring a fresh perspective to Americana—rooted in tradition, but unafraid to push boundaries.
Whether reimagining a pop anthem or delivering a fiery original tune, Daniel & the Deliverance offer a joyful, high-energy experience that resonates with bluegrass purists and newcomers alike.
