Dane Erbach is author of Friday Night at Humble House. A graduate of Lake Forest College, Erbach holds a Masters from Northwestern and now teaches English and journalism at a public high school. He was named the 2026 McHenry County High School Educator of the Year by the McHenry County Regional Office of Education.
