Dandelion Workshop with Lauren Snyder

We are all likely familiar with the sunshine yellow flowers of the spring dandelions, and many of us carry childhood memories of scattering seeds and wishes from their fairy like summer puffballs. But, besides its reputation as a stubborn sidewalk W**d and the flora of childhood delights; how many of us really know the deeper magic of dandelions?

Join us as we delve into all the wondrous magic and herbal wisdom this seemingly unassuming little plant has to offer. Participants will have the opportunity to not only learn all about its history, cultivation, and healing properties; but we will also be brewing some dandelion medicine together. Participants will also receive a full color PDF handout with helpful links and resources!

Lauren is a queer herbalist, botanical artisan, and local plant walk guide. The third generation of their family to live in Ojai, Lauren has always been inspired by and deeply connected to the plants of the Ojai valley and beyond. Lauren founded Thimble and Seed, a small local business that offers Botanical Art, Handcrafted herbal products, and Educational workshops to help people reconnect with nature by way of plant-based wisdom and whimsy.
