D&D 1-shot: "The Wild, Wild Surge Carnival" (DM Ira)

Alright, ladies and gentlefolks, it is time to SPIN THAT WHEEL OF RANDOM. We shall turn the wheel to determine what happens next. Who knows what crazy and whacky adventure awaits you all in this unbridled and amazing spectacle of randomness in the Feywilds! Come one, come all to the Wild Wild Surge Carnival!

Wild Surge (character creation guidelines):

(for those that want to make their own character)

- TTRPG: Dungeons and Dragons 5e (2014-2023)

- stats for ability scores: Roll 4d6 (take out the lowest, do this for each ability score)

- HP: Max + 15

- Starting equipment

- Level: ??? (roll a d20 for your level,

- For classes, it is going to be random (roll 1 d20):

1. Commoner (no class)
2. Fighter
3. Cleric
4. Druid
5. Rogue
6. Warlock
7. Sorcerer
8. Monk
9. Paladin
10. Ranger
11. Bard
12. Barbarian
13. Warlock
14. Artificier
15. BloodHunter
16. A Commoner (multiclass: choose two to three)
17. Reroll with Advantage!
18. A Commoner (mono class: choose one)
19. Reroll with Disadvantage!
20. An Avatar/Aspect of the DM’s design! (*cackle*)

- Characters will have random backgrounds as well (roll 1d12) (theses will have a special bonus from the DM)

Each Thursday, we welcome local Game Masters from our community to run an adventure for anyone who signs up. One-shot Adventures are free to monthly passholders, and only our standard entry fee (plus Eventbrite's fee) for non-members. Pre-created characters will be made available, though you are welcome to show up with your own and it will be leveled to wherever it needs to be. If you would like help with character creation, feel free to show up 20-30 minutes early. Sign up to be the Game Master, or one of the players, in an upcoming session of Dungeons & Dragons or the system of your choosing!

Notes:

• Suggested arrival time is ~15 minutes before listed beginning.
• Drinks are free for GMs.
• We are a PG-13 establishment. We ask that players under 14 be accompanied by an adult.
• Specify the appropriate level, and rules for character creation if games are not 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons standard.
• Players should respectful of others. Games can become rambunctious, so expect some interruptions, but be sure to give quieter players a chance to speak as well.
• If we be adventurers, let us adventure!
