With foliage fallen, things might feel more exposed and out in the open this season. On Nov. 15 at ROOT, we’ll explore the art of being bare—moving with what becomes visible when the layers fall away, and what it feels like to be unabashedly unadorned.

Dancing Your Depths is an imaginative relational movement practice, where each class is a thoughtfully guided journey of music, imagery, somatic exploration, and movement conversations.
From the playful to the profound, this is an experimental space to explore the full spectrum of your movement—the wild, the weird, the expansive, and the subtle.
Connect with yourself, with others, and with the embodied intelligence that emerges when we share a dance floor with creativity and curiosity. There’s time to both dive deep into your own inner landscape and immerse in the quiet choreography unfolding between us—moving alongside one another, witnessing, responding, and discovering how our individual dances can become part of something larger.
There are no steps or counts to learn, but the practice is scaffolded by a loose framework that serves as a container for our explorations.

Cost: Sliding scale of $15–$22 per person ($10 if it's your first time). Pay at the door with cash or Venmo. This Eventbrite listing is for info/details only, not payment collection.
Parking: The building has its own parking lot. Additional free street parking available on the side streets.
Accessibility: There is a steep flight of steps outside to reach the second level. Please reach out to me at least a day in advance for information on how to access the alternative entrance with a ramp.
