This is a great introduction if you have never danced with fire or with these kind of hand palms! I’m keeping costs as affordable as possible, offering all three workshop sessions for R330 or drop-in for one R125. I will be providing the bio fuel for the palms during the one hour sessions where I will be sharing movement unity consciousness with the fire and some choreography. I will adjust to dancer level and am excited to be presenting this!
The three 1-hour workshops will take place every second Sunday in August, including 3, 17 and 31 August 1600-1700.
Essential equipment you will need is your own set of hand palms. I have spoken to the producer and will bring sets with me on the day that you can purchase, but booking in advance is really important so let me know if you are interested! The sets cost R1100.
What will happen in the workshops:
-initiation process of tuning in with the fire
-processing fire movement as extensions of your natural body
-exploring shaping and some patterns
-working with different types of traditional and fusion music
-developing small choreo
Ideal if you have a few years of belly dance training or are PRO level wanting to incorporate fire into your own shows!
