Dear friends,I would like to invite you to a circle dedicated to our ancestors and our teachers and to the message we received from them Who were the people here before us? Whose footsteps are we following?
We dance simple, meditative and ecstatic circle dance using mantras and sacred texts from the world spiritual traditions. These body-prayer practices help us open our hearts so that we can see beyond differences. We sing the mantras in order to hear our voice resonate in our body and in our heart. We connect to the Divine within and to each other in the circle.
Come as you are. No experience necessary.
Here are 3 ways to participate:
sit, listen and enjoy the vibration, energy and atmosphere
sit and sing and dance with your hands
join the circle and dance and sing
I am grateful for Myra's art, beauty and big heart she brings to our circle as a musician. The circles have been transformed by her music.

it is a short walk (one and a half block) North of St. George subway station (Bedford Exit). There is also limited parking available behind the building accessible from Bedford Avenue. After you park your car, please inform the Friends House staff.
Donations $10 - $20 are appreciated.
