This two session workshop will introduce you to the techniques use for Dancing Through the Skirt. This dance style developed by Evadne (Vany) Medina uses double 25 yard skirts as a dance prop, similar to using a veil.
The first session will be from 10-12, then take a break and start again at 1:00 until 3:00. Later there will be a hafla at 6:00pm to dance together.
The cost is $25.00 paid at the door. This covers both sessions and the hafla.
Wear two 25 yard skirts to the workshop sessions. If you do not have skirts there will be some for rent. $5.00 per skirt, you need two.
