Dancing Through The Decades Camp!

This camp will either be held at Greenwood Community Church.

Join us for a week of fun, games, hard work, fellowship, and DANCING!! During this camp, your student will receive training in many styles of dance: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Swing, Lyrical, and MORE. As long as your student has had a dance class or musical theatre experience, we encourage students of ALL skill levels to join us for this dance week; knowing that we will push each student individually to grow and learn new styles and techniques throughout the week. This is going to be a wonderful camp for any students with upcoming musical auditions, as we hope to help all students feel more confident in their dancing abilities and to pick up choreography FAST. We will be working extremely hard throughout the week on styles, technique, and of course, learning some extremely fun dances to perform. Our time together will be leading to a recital on Friday evening where students will showcase to parents all they have learned throughout camp. Our theme for this week is DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES (: We hope you join us for this amazing week of all. things. DANCE.

Students will need to wear each day to camp:
-Black Jazz Shoes
-Tap shoes
-Black tank top tucked in with black T-shirt on top (we will rolling, jumping, and so on so tank top is necessary OR a black Leotard underneath)
Girls: solid black athletic leggings (thicker material) or solid black joggers
Boys: solid black sweatpants or joggers
(This is also your base layer costume for the recital Friday, any other costume needs will be minimal and will be released by Wednesday. Artios will be providing many additional accessories/costume pieces)

Note: THURSDAY will be a costume day where you get to dress up from your favorite decade that we have learned about so far that week (: There will be prizes ;) So start planning now! Students will still need to bring dance attire with you this day to change into later on.
