Through the powerful practice of the Dances of Universal Peace, we will awaken our minds, bodies, hearts and souls to greater aliveness, joy and connection. We will go on a journey of embodying, chanting and dancing different aspects of the Goddess and the Divine Feminine/Mother throughout all time and through many traditions, including Dances from the ancient Middle Eastern/Egyptian Goddess cycle. This is a great practice for us to invoke qualities within our own being which can serve us and our planet greatly at this time. We all need this! -for people of all genders and none.
The Dances of Universal Peace are inspired by the wisdom and sacred chants of the spiritual traditions of humankind. This is joyful body prayer, linking the individual with the deeper aspects of their being bringing joy and inner peace. Together we create an embodied mandala of movement, breath and sound which has the power to touch and change lives. Connection is experienced both through guided and free movement with sacred signing/chanting of the ancient mantras. For Christina Gulzar, certified Dance Leader and Mentor, sharing these Dances is one of the greatest joys of her life!
No experience necessary. All are welcome.
