Come move, pray, and play in a sacred 6-week journey of joy, exercise, and ritual through movement with silk streamers. Together we’ll open the heart, set intention, and discover what it feels like to let Spirit dance with us, as us, and beside us.

✨ What is Dances with Spirit? ✨

This is not a traditional dance class. It’s prayer in motion — a heart-centered practice of movement woven with ritual. Each week, we’ll open with an altar and intention, then flow with music across genres, exploring simple movements with silk streamers that look and feel like Spirit moving through you.

No right, no wrong. Just breath, movement, and joy.

Week 1 — Awakening the Streamers

Meet the silks as spirit-companions, guided by grounding, breath, and simple flow.

Week 2 — Flow & Freedom

Release control and let movement carry you in circles, swirls, and playful prayer.

Week 3 — Rhythm & Relationship

Connect to music more deeply, dancing with the streamers as trusted companions.

Week 4 — Expression & Emotion

Let the body speak what words cannot through slower, emotive, heart-led flow.

Week 5 — Spirit in Motion

Merge prayer and movement fully, weaving altar elements into your dance.

Week 6 — Celebration & Showcase

Honor the journey in free flow and optional shared dances as a collective offering.

This week is:

Week 1 — Awakening the Streamers

We begin by meeting the silks as extensions of our own spirit. Through grounding, breath, and simple flow movements, you’ll get to know your streamer as a companion in prayer and play. Together, we’ll open the altar and dedicate our first dance to the journey ahead.

– Comfortable clothes

– Water

– Yoga mat for stretching and warmups

– Silk streamers (see details below)

– A flower, stone, or small item for the altar (optional)

– Your heart, your breath, your willingness to move ✨

🌺 Streamers

Silk streamers are required for this class — they are more than props, they are companions in prayer, play, and movement.
