TO REGISTER: schools can email [email protected] or call (973) 971-3714The Morris Museum presents Carolyn Dorfman Dance in "The Legacy Project: A Dance of Hope." CDD's artistic and educational program is guided by the principle of DEPTH dance; Dance that Empowers People To be more Human.
This program aligns with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in Visual and Performing Arts. Students engage with themes of cultural identity, historical trauma and resilience, empathy, and creative expression. Students make connections to historical events such as the Holocaust, and explore how the arts can be used to communicate complex ideas, values, and social issues—developing both critical thinking and social-emotional learning.
