DanceCraft: Key of Spades May 2-6 2024 (ONLINE OPTIONS AVAILABLE)

This is an IN PERSON and ONLINE event.

FULL CLASS ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED TO TEST.

CERTIFICATION AND TESTING:

PLEASE NOTE: While recordings are available during the workshop week, they are not meant to replace live attendance. The recordings are for international online students who cannot attend live due to prohibitive timing of the classes (for example--middle of the night). International online students are required to attend one full session everyday (either before or after lunch) AND are required to attend the first hour of the first class for orientation.

Certification will be awarded to those who have 100% participation in all classes and activities and pass the final exam at the end of the intensive.  There is a $50 testing fee due at the beginning of the intensive.  Testing is optional but required to move on to Level 3.

Key of Spades is Level 2 of DanceCraft.  In this level, we will go deeper into the work of the format and begin to play with dynamics and choreographic devices and layer...everything.  This is a physically rigorous dance training. Registration is open to graduates of the Key of Diamonds only.

SCHEDULE (Subject to changes)

Thursday May 2nd - Monday May 6th. 10 am- 6 pm PST with one hour lunch break. Monday the 6th the class is 10 am - 5 pm.

There will be one 'evening' lab TBA. It will be recorded and can be watched later if the scheduled time is prohibitive.

Testing will occur on the last day Mon May 6th, from 6 - 8 pm approximately. International students can test Tuesday May 7th from approximately 11am-1pm PST.

***You will have homework and a project to complete

Prerequisites and homework assignments are listed on the Facebook group for your class.

All sales are NON-REFUNDABLE.  If you are for some reason unable to make it, you may sell your spot to someone else (a Diamonds graduate).  Be sure to let us know who you transfer to.

Tuition is $780, with an additional $50 testing fee (optional).  Payment plans are available in 2 payments of $405.  Tickets are available to Key of Diamonds graduates only.  Registration opens on October 1st, 2023 at 9am PST.
