Dance To Remember Fundraiser

Fuelled by his singular passion for music, Dónal Dineen’s autobiographical short documentary Dance To Remember is a cinematic meditation on the ties that bind us to the places and people we love, in life and death. A delayed discovery of the joys of the Sliabh Luachra traditional dance music sound, opens up a posthumous alliance with his father and a door to redemption.

Dance to Remember was written and directed by Dönal and produced by James Kelly of Feenish Producions. The film was awarded the €10K Kerry Film Bursary in 2023 but funds have to be raised to put key finishing touches on the film for cinema release.

Introduced by Dónal, attendees will get to see the final edit of this film before the colour has been graded and sound mix is added, and before it goes out on the festival circuit later in the year.

You will will also be treated to live music performed by Seamas Hyland, as well getting a peek at a special short film from James Kelly's vaults.
