Thistle Blues Dancing presents a night of blues dancing at the Argle Cellar Bar! The night will consist of an open level taster class taught by international blues dance instructor Jamica followed by social dance time!
*WHEN/WHERE* - Tuesday the 14th of May at the Agyle Cellar bar, on Argyle Pl just south of The Meadows
7pm-8pm: a beginner friendly, open level drop-in class
8pm onwards: social dance time with DJ'd blues music
*HOW MUCH* - Donation based *CASH ONLY*. With suggested donation of £10 for the class and £5 for just the social.
*IN CLASS* - No partner is required and everyone will get the opportunity to dance with each other in both lead and follow roles.
Blues as a dance style, often uses a close embrace as the main connection in partnership. Consent will be prioritised at all times. Everyone has the right to say no to a dance and that right must be respected.
