Dance Skate Workshops w/ Morgan Weske

This class is ideal for those who can already skate forward and want to get into dancing. I will cover the fundamentals of Center Work & Trail Work. We will work on beginner dance skate technique and drills. Then, put them all together at the end for our very own Beginner Dance Skate Choreography!

Thursday October 28, 2021 6:00pm-8:00pm

This class is for those who’ve already been dancing on skates, but want to add more skills, tricks, and grooves to their freestyle! We’ll work on moves that are great for Center work and Trail skating. Then, towards the end we will put all those moves together for Intermediate Dance Skate Choreography!

Class size is limited, so register early! You can register for the instructional workshops only, or add-on a discounted admission to Adult Skate Night on October 28th. (Perfect to practice those new skills!)

About the instructor: Morgan Weske is a trained Professional Dancer, Roller Skater and Choreographer based in Los Angeles. When she isn't touring the world offering Dance Skate workshops, she teaches choreography classes at a dance studio in LA.. She's been a dance teacher for 14 years, and a skate teacher for 4 years. She skated regularly as a kid every week in the rink, but got seriously about it in 2015 when she moved to Venice Beach. She's been working in the industry as back-up dancer and Choreographer for years, but it soon transferred over into skating when she started taking her roller skates to dance & acting auditions. Morgan has been in commercials for Zelle, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Subway, Cricket Wireless, and has also appeared in many TV shows and films. She also has a background in Videography and Motion Graphics, so she created a social media platform called Dance Skate which showcases talent throughout the world.
