Join us this November for a 4 part workshop series focused on dance skate basics!We have partnered with Maria Serrano from @savethewheelspec to offer this introduction course where we will focus on learning some basic moves and combining those into choreographed dance routines.
These classes are available for anyone who owns their own skates and who has basic skating skills (shifting balance, forward and backward skating). These are a great opportunity for folks from different skating backgrounds to develop more footwork skills as well!
Classes will be held in the smaller gym at the old KCVI building at 235 Frontenac Street and will run from 5:30-7:00 pm. We will start with a brief warm up/open skate and get right into lessons right at 5:45.
We are offering these as drop ins at $25 per class or the full 4 week series for $80. Even though we are offering drop in we do need a minimum of 8 skaters to preregister by October 26th in order to run these. We will be accepting payment via etransfer to [email protected].
