Come roll with the Quad Goals crew! Each class will cover 2-3 different dance skating moves, helping you build a solid dance skating foundation.?Dance Skate will take place on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00 PM
?The class will meet for 4 Tuesdays, starting April 4th, at the Durham Central Park Pavilion
?Class dates are: 4/4, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25
We love hosting classes at the Pavilion, and it is important to note that the Pavilion is outdoors. However, we will typically skate rain or shine; the Pavilion protects against most elements. In case of a session cancellation due to weather, skaters will be offered a make up session.
Skaters will need:
✔️quad-style roller skates
✔️full safety gear, including helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards
Toe guards are encouraged, but not required; jam plugs are optional and not necessary for class, but are necessary to perform certain modified options of a few moves.
?While Skate Camp will be held outdoors, masking and vaccination are required to keep the whole Quad Squad safe.
Skaters will receive a welcome email and a required waiver prior to their first session.
⭐️Please note that this camp is geared toward beginners to dance skating, but you *must* be able to skate to get the most out of this class!
⭐️This class is appropriate for those who have taken a Skate Camp class with Quad Goals or those who know how to safely and confidently propel forwards, come to a complete stop without assistance, and turn around.
⭐️The skating surface at the Pavilion requires the ability to skate up and down a minor incline and decline.
You can expect other participants to come with varying levels of skating skills and athletic backgrounds. Quad Goals promotes a positive, affirming environment for skaters of all skill levels.
