Dance of the Nipples | A Breast Cancer Awareness Exhibition

XoXo Gallery is accepting submissions for “Dance of the Nipples” an exhibition responding to Breast Cancer awareness month. This exhibition invites artists and individuals who have been personally affected by breast cancer—including those currently undergoing treatment,  in recovery, in remission or survivors of breast cancer. Caregivers, family members, friends, and loved ones are also welcome to apply. We recognize that breast cancer informs each individual differently and want to acknowledge the voices and perspectives of those affected. 

Artists of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply. Whether you are sharing your own journey, honoring someone you love, documenting the role of caregiving, or exploring the broader social and cultural impacts of breast cancer, we invite you to contribute to this collective conversation.

XoXo Gallery is a curatorial initiative, not exclusive to the Goxxip Girl Collective, meaning anyone and everyone is eligible to apply to our open calls regardless of gender. 

TIMELINE: 

Deadline to Submit: Sunday, September 13 @ Midnight

Notification of Acceptance: Week of September 15

Artwork Drop Off: Sunday, September 27 + Monday, September 28

Exhibition on View: Thursday, October 1 - Friday, October 20

Opening Reception: Thursday, October 1 | 6 PM to 9 PM 

Exhibition Closes: Friday, October 20 @ 4 PM 

Artwork Pick-Up: Sunday, November 22 + Monday, November 23
