Dance Free - Hartsholme Park Woods

An uplifting morning moving freely to music in beautiful woodland energising our body and soul. Connecting to the rhythms, each other and nature through movement and dance.

Free your body and soul, let go of your mind.

We'll meet and walk for 7 mins to the dancing spot in the woods.

We start with a welcoming and a few guidelines on dancing free in the body. There's then a facilitated guided movement mediation over gentle music for 5 minutes which helps us drop into body, followed by a one hour music journey which is a wave of different rhythms for free movement. Simply move as much or little as you like, however you feel. 😊

It’s a very warm, fun and welcoming space to let go and dance you.

Dance Free events are for everyone - and also Carer Friendly - which means we offer free ticket for carers. For a free carer ticket, please email [email protected].

Meet at 9:50am in Hartsholme Park Car Park. We'll all then walk about 7 minutes into the woods to our dancing location.

Please car share or cycle where possible.

Parking: Hartsholme Park Car Park or it's overflow car park on the opposite side of Skellingthorpe Road to the main entrance.
