Dance Flow Friday is bringing something special to the EpiCenter floor: Expressive Lyrical Jazz, a class designed for adults who want to reconnect with their body and move with intention. This isn't about perfection or speed — it's about feeling every count and owning every phrase.

The session is led by Angelica Alexander of Life is an 8 Count Inc., whose approach blends fluid jazz technique with emotional storytelling and nostalgic R&B. The music pulls from the soul catalog — think Jill Scott, Maxwell, Brandy, Whitney Houston — and the movement follows. Expect a grounding warm-up, intentional across-the-floor phrases, and a layered combo that builds confidence from the inside out.

Wear something you can move freely in and bring water. No dance experience required — all levels are welcome.
