A key member of the Bristol CI organising and teaching team over the past years, Lucia moved back to Spain to deepen her studies of CI. She'll be visiting to share her perspectives on what it is to be a moving body, both solo and with others.
Lucia is offer two 2 hour workshops.
12:00 - 2:00 Movement Improvisation - Aligned Bodies
This workshop is an invitation to connect with our movement and how it is affected in relation to other bodies or the space around it.
2:00 - 3:00 Lunch break
3:00 - 5:00 Contact Improvisation - Orientation Spaces
In CI dance, we may encounter situations in which our body feels disoriented. Through different exercises, we will seek to familiarise ourselves with these situations so that we can enjoy this wonderful practice to the fullest.
You can attend both workshops or just one. If you attend either you will get FREE entry to the Bristol CI jam afterwards, running from 5:30 to 7:45 with shared food afterwards.
