We are thrilled to announce our new dance concert "Big little stories." We are going to bring to life some of the most beloved stories from childhood and beyond, in a way that you’ve never seen before. Our dance show is not just about dance—it’s about storytelling. From timeless classics like Cinderella, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, and The Lion King, we’re taking these cherished tales and reimagining them through a variety of dance styles, from the soulful movements of contemporary and lyrical, to the electrifying energy of jazz, hip hop, and even the breathtaking acrobatics. Just as these stories have captivated the hearts of both the young and the young-at-heart for generations, we hope tonight's performances do the same. Every dancer on this stage has poured their passion into creating something that’s not only entertaining but also emotionally moving. These pieces are inspired by the core of these timeless tales—the courage, the love, the dreams, and the triumphs—that have touched so many lives. We are going to present more than 35 new dances created by our amazing choreographers: Lana Borisova, Katerina Novotna, Laura Sparkes, Matilda Zorlu, Teo Ross and Shoko Nagafuchi.
Over 120 talented dancers from years old through adults, will perform on the stage on Sunday, December 15th,2024 at 6:30pm at Norths Cammeray. Whether you are a dance enthusiast or entertainment, "Big little stories" dance concert is not to be missed. It is going to be unforgettable event for children and adults.
