WelcomeTogether we allow, through movement and sound, to see and be seen un-leashing. Howl or growl, intuitive, we feel giving motion to emotions releases our body and voices. Thank you divine dance theatre comedy.
This practice begins in circle, synchronizing, sounding, warming up our bodies. We will explore floor based contemporary and hip hop movement, such a animal flow and flying low. A range of options will be given for different movement levels. Example/ intro to cartwheels-adventurous cartwheels. Then we will dive deeper into dance theatre, play silly soulful games and share opportunities to be witness/be witnessed. We will close the last hour with a composition score (similar to a contact improv jam with guidelines we will create) to be seen and be heard in heart centeredness and creative communication.
This practice is ceremonious, and open to anyone who comes with an open heart and a wish to explore sacred dance theatre. All movement abilities, neurodivergence and queerness welcome.
Gather an idea of what you want to communicate, a water bottle, movement clothing and a stick from the ground.

Doors open to arrive at 6pm, facilitation begins at 6:30pm.
Closing circle by 9pm.
We will be in the upstairs dance studio at Centennial Church.
