Come enjoy moving your body and being with others as special guest DJ Casey Mercil will takes us on a music journey. Guidelines for our dances:
These guidelines help us all create and experience a safe, sacred, and respectful space:
To help us focus on our bodies and experience this is Non-verbal practice.
Please restrict conversations to before or after the dance or out in hallway or outside while dance is going on. However feel free to make sounds, whoop, sing or release however you feel it!
We practice acceptance of what is: dropping judgments and expectations of ourselves and others.
Present and authentic
Emotions: Frustration, discomfort, grief, boredom, etc. All of it is welcome.
Dance does NOT have to be “ecstatic” and does not have to look like “dance.” Tears welcome, joy welcome.
Movement can be subtle, internal, or bigger, outward. Let your body show you how it wants to move.
Copy, trying new things. We practice respect for our own and others’ comfort levels, AND we practice expanding our boundaries and trying new things.
At around 8:10 we will have a brief hello circle and then again before we end we will have a short goodby check in.

- Dress to have fun, let out your authentic self and be comfortable!
