Class Description:

A Bollywood cardio dance fitness class inspired and driven by the heart-pumping, energetic rhythms of Bollywood. The class embodies dynamic choreography and easy-to-follow dance aerobics. Learn the origins and vocabulary of traditional Bollywood dance steps in this all-level class.

Location: All Fitness Court classes are outdoors at Civic Center / UN Plaza - 3537 Fulton Street, San Francisco, CA 94102. Located between Hyde Street and Market Street.

BART:Get off at Civic Center / UN Plaza Station. Exit Market and Eighth.

Born and raised in India, Simran grew up with Bollywood dance as an essential part of her life. From learning classical styles in school to participating in numerous competitions, dance has always been her most natural form of joy and expression. Known for lighting up the moment music starts, she strives to create experiences where others can feel that same sense of freedom, happiness, and connection.

After moving to San Francisco three years ago, her relationship with dance deepened even further. She immersed herself in local classes, began sharing Bollywood dance with people from diverse cultures, and performed at community events and senior homes. Introducing others to the beauty and energy of Bollywood has been one of the most fulfilling parts of her journey.

Eventually, she began teaching BollyX for Rae and YMCA San Francisco, and every time she brings vibrant Bollywood spirit, positivity, and community to dancers of all levels. 

Her goal is to cultivate a welcoming space where everyone can move, celebrate, and experience the joy of Bollywood together.
