Dance and Improvisation Workshop for Childrenwith Valentina Campora and Manuela Tessi

In this workshop we will learn some basics of dance and explore improvisation through games, space and the relationship with the music. Valentina and Manuela are experienced dance facilitators for all age groups. They will skillfully guide the children through a fun movement journey.
The workshop will include:
-Warm up (breathing, clapping, moving on the beat)
-Dance together, imitating what comes up from the group.
-Music and acrobatic
-Learning simple movement patterns and creating short choreography
-Last dance together!
Valentina Campora and Manuela Tessi are professional dance artists from Italy. They both studied contemporary dance at the AHK in Amsterdam and work and live in the Netherlands for the last two decades. Next to being professional dancers and choreographers, they have individually worked as dance teachers for children (kleuters and group 3-12) for Russian School of Arts Rotterdam, Lo Stivaletto, Movement Academy 301 a.o.
They both create performance work for young audience, in particular collaborating with Makiko Ito and her Wonderland collective, that creates interdisciplinary improvised music and dance performance for the young ones
