Suitable for beginners as well as experienced students keen to revisit the fundamentals, these fortnightly classes draw on principles from a range of creative dance methodologies. Classes incorporate individual, small group and ensemble work, and make use of music and props to help extend creativity and physical expression.Sessions include aesthetic and design-based exploration as well as physical movement, and no prior dance experience is required. Designed for anyone wanting to extend their creativity in a new direction or broaden their experience with movement-based improvisation in a welcoming and friendly space. Taught by Artistic Director Meah Velik-Lord.
