Yesterday is Gone, my debut album, came out at a strange time in the world. I never expected that I would be releasing it during a virus pandemic and not be able to tour it for at least a year since the release which is where we’re at now. This was the first year I was to play at multiple festivals and tour France, Germany, and North America. It’s the biggest bummer but I’ve silently accepted it as we’re all accepting it and what must be done during this pandemic. However, I’m happy to hear of the many ways in which it did reach people. That’s the best news! To read beautiful and thoughtful comments from friends and strangers. Also, in many ways, not being able to do so many things that I was used to doing has just shown me how excited I was about getting on the road and has, in turn, helped me to realize that I should work on not taking things for granted, which I was in many ways already beginning to do...
