~ Veteran Americana/Folk Rock Artist Dana Cooper Makes Triumphant Return with New Album “The Ghost of Tucumcari.” NASHVILLE, TN - Acclaimed singer-songwriter Dana Cooper released his highly anticipated 32nd studio album, “The Ghost of Tucumcari”, on May 17, 2024. Featuring an All-Star lineup of guest artists, the album marks a major achievement for the veteran musician after over 50 years in the business. Dana's 1st release on Elektra Records came out 51 years ago featuring the legendary band "The Section" with Leland Sklar & Russ Kunkel - AKA The Immediate Family - as his session band for the album.

It all started in Lyle, MN (pop. 500) with a skid loader and a fence post. Six Mile Grove frontman Brandon Sampson was 7-years-old when he injured his hand while helping his dad on the family farm. He was prescribed guitar playing for physical therapy, and a musician was born.
Six Mile Grove has weathered 20 years of the tumultuous music scene as a self-managed, self-produced, and self-recorded band. Its music continues to evolve, as an organic, honest voice untinkered with and untainted by the lure of record labels or flashy music producers.
In their critically acclaimed latest album Million Birds, the band contemplates the humble human challenges of work, family, life and love; when to take risks, when to play it safe, when to fight, and when to surrender.
