That Dan Tuffy’s music has remained under the radar for so long is a complete mystery to us, but our coveted back room is the perfect habitat for the intimate magic of his performances and that’s a good thing. Punters who witnessed his 2 shows here last year were left stunned and swaying. Dan returns to Melbourne for a rare solo appearance at the Merri Creek Tavern on Sunday 18 August. We have signed him up to play both old and new stuff. He will also deliver a few of his classic cautionary tales in that characteristic dry style of his.Opening for Dan will be the wonderful Teresa-Duffy-Richards. ABC Country Radio recently described her as “one of the most exciting voices in alt-country this country has heard in a long time”. Teresa draws comparisons to Sandy Denny, Emmylou Harris
and Dolly Parton while remaining all her own.
