Genre-bending slide guitarist Dan Musil returns to the Wesley Anne bandroom for a special matinee show to launch his long-awaited EP.
Dan Musil plays like no-one else, weaving otherworldly musical journeys and with incisive songwriting. Melding lush lap steel guitar and dobro with songwriting both honest and astute, Dan’s new EP journeys to where Irish tunes emerge from stomping blues, where eucalyptus-infused musical meditations meet driving groove & flowing phrase - the provocative and the calming.
Before Dan takes this new EP on tour across regional Victoria, NSW & ACT, The Wesley Anne will host this special launch show featuring a unique musical reunion & SPECIAL GUESTS who appear on the record.
The show will be opened with a set from multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Loz-Irin Ray.
With piano and voice songwriter sensibilities influenced by folk, soul and jazz traditions, Loz Irwin-Ray creates music to make you think and feel, exploring the state of the world and the state of living within it.
This will be a family-friendly show.
