Dan Bowman: Monster Trout & North Georgia

The Arkansas Fly Fishers are excited to welcome Daniel Bowman, one of the Southeast's premier fly fishing guides, for our August monthly meeting where he will cover the unique trout fisheries of North Georgia, his strategies for targeting and catching MONSTER trout, and planning a successful fly fishing trip to North Georgia and beyond. Based in North Georgia, Dan has spent more than a decade guiding anglers on the region's renowned trout streams and tailwaters. Through Bowman Fly Fishing, he and his team guide anglers on float and wade trips across the Toccoa, Soque, Noontootla, Etowah, Tuckasegee, and other celebrated Southern fisheries.
Many Arkansas Fly Fishers members already know Dan from the outstanding club trips he has hosted, including unforgettable adventures to Patagonia and on Georgia's legendary Soque River.
