Your daily route tells a story about how Dallas is built.

How long does it take to get to work, school, the grocery store or the doctor? Which trips can you make without a car? What do you wish were closer to home?

Join the City of Dallas Planning & Development Department and Dallas College for Getting Around Dallas, an interactive Zoning 101 conversation at the Dallas College Workforce Center at RedBird.

Residents will put parts of their day on a shared map, compare how people move across the city and explore the relationship between zoning and the places we need to reach.

Zoning does not set bus routes or build roads. But it helps shape what can be located where, and that affects the trips people need to make.

You do not have to be a zoning expert to be part of the conversation.
