About this Event

Welcome to the Dallas Youth Poets Grand Slam! Join us at the Singing Hills Recreation Center for an exciting showcase of young talent. Dallas Youth Poets strives to use poetry to promote healthy activism, mental health awareness, and personal, social, and emotional development in youth ages 14-21; equipping them to conquer—and help others conquer—the unexpected obstacles in life. Come out to support your local young artists or to show up and show off your poetic skills. The Event is free and open for viewing to all ages, the competition is free and open to youth 14-19. Winners will receive a spot on our traveling competition team. Further details are attached below. Hope to see you there!
