Collecting 101 | Supporting an Ecosystem: Collecting Dallas Artists

Collecting 101 is an introductory workshop series presented by Dallas Contemporary in collaboration with auction houses and established collectors that will offer insight on building art collections, from personal objects for the home to institutional acquisitions. Designed for aspiring collectors, the program offers the essential knowledge and tools to begin building a collection with confidence and purpose.
The discussion will feature insights from industry and community experts:

• Joyce Goss, Phillips Auction, moderator
• Tammy Cotton Hartnett, DC board and Moreno collector
• Francisco Moreno, Spring 2026 DC Artist
• Robyn Siegel, art advisor

The evening will begin with mingling and cocktails at 5:30pm, and will be followed by Art Collecting 101 workshop at 6:00pm. Members are invited to bring a guest to this event.
