Dallas ACW July Event: Empowering Women Together

The mission of Genesis Women's Shelter is to end domestic violence and become a part of the solution. For more than 20 years, the Genesis Benefit Thrift Store has been making incredible contributions to the Dallas community. Often times, the women and children flee their homes with only the clothes on their backs.

At the Thrift Store, all Genesis clients are able to shop at the Thrift Store at no cost. This is especially impactful because each client can pick out what she needs for her unique situation - furniture for a new apartment, a dress to wear to an interview, or a set of sneakers because she left everything behind when she fled her home in the middle of the night.

During our time at the Store, we'll help receive and sort donations, display donated items, work at the counter, help color coordinate, set up displays, rearrange the furniture, and help with the overall organization of the store.

We're so excited to spend time giving back to this incredible organization and spend time together with our ACW community of women in DFW.
