Obstacles are a great opportunity to problem solve with your horse, done right, you can use them to build trust and confidence. Working with obstacles has practical application with things like float loading and asking the horse to pass or ride over something scary. If you have practiced obstacles in a relaxed setting, the horse and you are more equipped to deal with things like this if they become problems.
Obstacles, done calmly, also significantly improve equine core strength, topline and flexibility. They are fun for horse and human, young or old.
Come along and have a go. I will be available to give instruction if required. (Obstacles are one of my specialist events. I have competed and placed at a national level in obstacles. I perform with my formerly wild horse at liberty and tackless over obstacles.)
The obstacles can be done inhand or ridden.
$40 per horse for 2 hours access to the obstacles and instruction/ground support if needed.
