Daggerheart Mini-Campaign: The Vethara Gorge

Come Join Danger Wizard once again for our third Daggerheart Mini-Campaign this Summer!

Danger Wizard returns with Daggerheart, the not-super-but-still-pretty-new TTRPG system from Critical Role’s Darrington Press! As we've said before, it’s a system designed to tell the kinds of stories so many of us have fallen in love with from actual plays like Critical Role and Dimension Twenty, with all their comedy, drama, and heroism.

We have six player spots available for adults, and absolutely welcome players of all experience levels, whether you’re a D&D veteran or have never played a TTRPG before! Meet new people, make some memories and maybe even some new friends!

Dice, character sheets, minis, terrain, and everything else you need to play will be provided. Our first session will start with a session 0, where we’ll go over character creation, safety tools, how to play the game, and finally start playing the game itself!

The Campaign

High above the surface world, Floating Cities drift through the clouds, said to be incredible places of luxury, magic, and awe-inspiring power. You do not live there.

These 5 sessions will take us to the Vethara Gorge, a dusty badlands where few things grow, and still one of the few places on the surface of the continent of Ephar worth living in. The settlements and groups of the Valley have carved out an uneasy existence here, and whether they unite for faith, technology, their neighbors, or against others, all are kept afloat by the trade of Kairium: a precious magical metal sold to the Floating Cities when they pass through. That uneasy coexistence is increasingly under strain. Creatures from the ruined wastes are pushing deeper into the valley than anyone has seen before, envoys are disappearing on roads that used to be safe, and every settlement seems ready to point fingers at the others. Whatever reasons you may have, your characters are interested in peace in the Valley, and as you’re thrust into the center of it’s misfortune, you’ll uncover, and hopefully, confront, the sources of it.

Schedule: Session 0 is planned for Thursday, June 25th at 7:00pm, with the other 4 sessions running on the following Thursdays at the same time, from 7pm-10pm, until our exciting finale on Thursday, July 23rd!
