Join us on this day trip to Blithewold Mansion, in Bristol, RI, for their annual Daffodil Days Festival. We’ll celebrate spring at this beautiful 33 acre estate on Narraganset Bay with a spectacular display of more than 50,000 daffodils. The property features a 45 room mansion filled with family heirlooms, and is framed by a series of lovely gardens that range in character from mysterious to exotic and from poetic to practical. An exceptional collection of rare and unusual plants, specimen trees, an accessible greenhouse, and whimsical stonework project a character that is romantic, fresh, and inspiring.
We’ll enjoy an afternoon of Tea at the mansion. Savor the ambiance of life during the Country Place Era as we dine on scones, tea, sandwiches and more. After lunch we will enjoy some time strolling in downtown Newport before heading home.
Price for this trip is $95 P/P. Friends and family are welcome. Please call the office to sign up and pay no later than April 10th. As always, all sales are final.
