Commissioner Arrington to Kick-Off Dads, Daughters & Dolls Plus Sons Drive

Annual toy drive begins to bring holiday cheer to children with incarcerated fathers.

ATLANTA – As part of the effort to reach out to families in need this holiday season, Fulton County District 5 Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr., in partnership with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, is inviting residents to support the annual Dads, Daughters and Dolls, Plus Sons toy drive. This is an effort to collect new dolls and other toys for the sons and daughters of men incarcerated in the Fulton County J*il.

"I'm the father of four daughters and I know the importance of showing them love,” says Commissioner Arrington. "I want these children to feel the impact of their fathers’ love far beyond the bars. They need to know that regardless of whether or not their fathers are physically present they are still loved."

Toy collection for the Dads, Daughters & Dolls Plus Sons toy drive is now underway and will continue Friday December 10, 2021. The Drive will benefit the children of fathers incarcerated at Fulton County J*il during the holiday season. Participants are asked contribute toys for children between the ages of 1 and 12 by dropping off donations at the following locations:

In addition to supporting the toy drive, community members are also invited to volunteer to support two drive-thru toy giveaways on December 13th and December 14th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The giveaway events will take place at the South Fulton Service Center and Louise Watley Library.
