Dad La Soul Playdate For Dads and Kids - Worthing

Dad La Soul' is a revolutionary, grassroots movement, that uses the arts, music, tech and play to tackle social isolation in dads and kids.

We produce kick-ass Saturday morning playdates for dads, stepdads, granddads and male carers who want to hang out with their kids, play/learn/teach new skills and make some new cool friends. We also have two new VR headsets to use at every indoor sessions, available for all to use in order to explore different places, times, planets and more, all from our lovely Worthing base. Inspiring ideas and conversations for kids and dads alike. We also have a private outdoor space and a special sensory room for adults and children to play in.

Here's what we're up to this year:

• SAT 24th SEP - We're at Guildcare because it's too rainy to play outside. Come and join us!
• SAT 29th OCT - Halloween! We'll create some spooky Halloween accessories to celebrate this ghoulish time of year
• SAT 26th NOV - DJ Workshop. Learn to drop your best tunes with style. With help from an expert professional DJ friend of Dad La Soul
• SAT 17th DEC - Christmas. It's time to let our hair down and celebrate the festive season with our Christmas party.

You can expect soft play, old-school tunes, crafting, Lego, dress-up, free drinks/snacks.

Venue is Methold House, unless stated above.

NOTE: The entrance to Methold House is round the back, next to the carpark.

We have an incredible HQ in the centre of Worthing, with free parking, a garden, three rooms, a big screen and a cafe. It is essentially the dad version of when women go to the toilet together at the pub except the kids are invited. It's a safe space for dads and kids to let off steam, have some banter and ask for help. Suitable for children aged 0-10
