It’s Bring Your Dad to Comedy Day at the Zip Kombucha taproom! Rubber Ptarmigan is teaming up with Anchorage’s premiere kombucha brewers to host two back-to-back Father’s Day comedy events — first, an all-ages dad joke competition open for anyone to participate; then, a showcase of some of the best stand-up comedians in Alaska’s robust comedy scene.What better way to celebrate the fathers in our lives than with an epic symphony of the jokes that dads love most? (Notice how we resisted saying “bad jokes.”) Arm yourself with a couple of the daddiest dad jokes you can think of, then come out and force the crowd to hear them in this winner-take-all groan-off.
Anyone, dad or not, is welcome to sign up and compete — so bring the whole family and let the puns fly.
Please note that this is an all-ages show. Jokes should be appropriate for everyone from Baby to Great-Grandma.
The winner of the competition receives a glorious trophy to take home and display in their den. All participants will be entered in a raffle for a prize basket arranged by Zip Kombucha and Rubber Ptarmigan.
