Dachshund Dash 2024

Welcome to the Dachshund Dash 2024! Get ready for a pawsome event filled with fun and excitement. Join us at 301 Greensboro Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 for a day of dashing dachshunds and wagging tails. Whether you're a dachshund owner or just a fan of these adorable pups, this in-person event is perfect for you. Watch these little wiener dogs show off their speedy skills as they dash towards the finish line. It's a great opportunity to meet fellow dachshund enthusiasts and make new furry friends. Don't miss out on this tail-wagging event! You must purchase an entry ticket to Oktoberfest at the gate. It will be $15. Participation in this race is free. Dachshund or Dachshund mix only. Each heat will consist of 4-6 dogs. The winner of each heat will win a small prize. The heat winners will race for an overall winner to win a separate prize! The Dachshund Dash will start at 12:45 pm (participants must arrive by 12:30 pm) but the gates at Oktoberfest open at 10 am. All participants must fill out the attached waiver. You can email it to [email protected]. We will also have these waivers onsite at Metro Animal Shelter. You must get 1 ticket per dog entry.
