Dabke Class Series with Thowra Dabke at AANM (June 2022)

Check out the dabke classes every Tuesday starting June 7th. Adding new intermediate classes! Completion of the beginner classes is required to sign up. Stay tuned for the advanced level being added next month (intended for those wanting to lead a line or join any dabke team). Classes are held in person at the Arab American Museum. For kids ages 12 and under beginner class is at 5pm. For ages 13+ the beginner class is at 6pm and the intermediate is at 7pm. In the beginner series you will learn the proper technique and a lot of the fundamentals and a few variations. In the intermediate series you learn the rest of the fundamentals and more complex moves. All classes and levels will build on each other.

Classes are held on June 7, 14, 21, 28

Beginner 5-6pm: Ages 12 and under $45 for non-members, $40 for museum members

Beginner 6-7pm: Ages 13+ $55 for non-members, $45 for museum members and students

Intermediate 7-8pm: Ages 13+ $55 for non-members, $45 for museum members and students

A single class is $12 for kids and $15 for teens and adults
