I am very proud to present my sophomore album 'In Search Of The Lost Chord'In Search Of The Lost Chord transcends the musical meaning of the phrase, aiming for a detail in a well-designed building, a beautiful pattern in a fallen leaf, the perfect structure of a Beethoven sonata, or even transcendence of a fat techno groove. As we age, we tend to lose sight of our inner child, and forget those moments when we were blown away by the brightness of a toy, or the softness of a blanket. The same way, studying music can dull our sense of wonder when we first hear a beautiful chord progression.
This album celebrates striking that chord again within himself, dedicating his first musical stories in a decade to his mum and dad, his beloved life partner Alf (middle name Ingvald), his struggles and ambitions as a pianist, creativity in itself, and his obsession with popular music.
May 12 we will play an exclusive release concert in the Goethe-Institute at Herengracht 470 Amsterdam. I Hope to see u there.
