D1 Training Home Run Derby Competition

2023 D1 Training Home Run Derby Competition! We will give away $500 cash to the first place finisher & a custom Tater Wood Bat (33" -2, Balanced). Second Place will receive a custom Tater Wood Bat (33" -2, Balanced). Top ten finishers will receive a free week membership to D1 Training to use or gifted to someone.

This event will be hosted on an adult sized field (310 down the left field line, 365 to center, and 310 down the right field line). We will use fresh new Diamond baseballs.

Registration and hitting order will start at 2pm sharp, the event will start at 3pm sharp. YOU MUST BE AT THE EVENT BY 230PM TO BE PLACED IN THE HITTING ORDER. If you do not show up by 230PM you will be disqualified from the event (No Refunds)

Children 10 years and above are welcome to bring their gloves and retrieve balls. We will have an open concession stand for food, and bathrooms to use. We will also have kid friendly games! Each entry will recieve a raffle ticket for our door prizes, extra tickets may also be purchased ($2 each)

Here are the rules

• Ages below 17 can use wood or metal bats
• Ages 18 and above will only use wood bats
• Hit as many home runs as you can before 10 outs (5 minute time limit)
• Each player can take a single 2 minute pause at anytime before the 10th out
• If you want to purchase more outs it will be $5 extra per out (limit of 10 extra outs)
• In the event there is a tie, each player will get one hit, and the furthest hit ball in the air will win. Each player will be allowed to purchase 3 extra outs at $10 each out.
• Each player can choose to bring their own pitcher

Proceeds will go to Balcones Youth Sports Program.
