Céu has become one of the brightest Brazilian stars since her breakout in 2005 earning praise from fans and critics alike including a Latin GRAMMY Award nomination for Best New Artist and a GRAMMY Award nomination for Best Contemporary World Music Album. Her blend of tropicalia electropop jazz and the distinctive bossa nova of her home country have mesmerized audiences of all ages. Céu meaning “sky” or “heaven” in Portuguese lifts herself above the base level of traditional Brazilian instrumentals by using modern and worldwide musical inspirations.

She will transport her music to global stages this year with new performances including a set at Lollapalooza Brazil and a North American tour with a stop at Miami Beach Bandshell.
