Captivating and immersive; left-field electronica and audio reactive visuals inspired by natural phenomena, collide in this co-headline experience.
Fusing the elemental sounds of South Australia with unique electronica, this immersive audiovisual experience transcends boundaries, inviting you to witness the natural and digital worlds intertwining in a captivating and thought provoking display of electronic music and audio-reactive visuals.
Through sight and sound, CZUCHWICKI and inneralchemist explore naturally occurring phenomenon – inneralchemist transforms the sounds of the natural world into immersive sonic landscapes and CZUCHWICKI muses on the phosphene; a colour perceived without light entering the eye.

CZUCHWICKI presents PHOSPHENES:
PHOSPHENES is the new audiovisual live show from Australian drummer, producer and multimedia artist CZUCHWICKI, developed as a thesis whilst studying a Master of Arts in Music Production, Technology and Innovation at Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus. A phosphene is the phenomenon of “seeing” light without light entering the eye. It is experienced by placing pressure against the eyelids. CZUCHWICKI marries the visual theme of this phenomenon with his brand of experimental electronica, tying explosions of brilliant colour with sounds from the trip-hop, downtempo and industrial movements. With percussion at its heart, listeners can expect to be enthralled by hypnotic rhythms and luscious synths as they experience their senses through a lens of childlike wonder. PHOSPHENES sees CZUCHWICKI combine percussion and controllerism in an impressive display of musicianship. For this show, CZUCHWICKI developed custom visuals that use audio reactivity to modulate generative patterns in real time and blend them with glitchy silhouettes of the performance using live camera feeds.

By translating the unseen electrical signals of plants into captivating soundscapes, his art invites audiences to rediscover their connection to nature and their place within its intricate ecosystem. As co-founder of Adelaide-based recording studio and artist development hub, Songbird Society, inneralchemist guides fellow artists to create joyfully, grow continually, and connect meaningfully, bringing his deep industry experience, including time at Atlantic Records, into every collaboration. CZUCHWICKI is contemporary musician Jonty Czuchwicki – a second generation Australian from Adelaide, who belongs to a proud migrant family of Polish and Hungarian cultural background. As a drummer, producer and audiovisual artist, CZUCHWICKI’s music practice is a fluid blend of electronic music production, sound design, traditional instrumentation and audio reactive visuals. CZUCHWICKi is influenced by a diverse range of movements, encompassing downtempo, ambient, house, techno, IDM, industrial, alternative, coldwave, metal and trip-hop, resulting in a distinctive and recognisable sound. In 2021 CZUCHWICKI released their Reocurring Dream EP, and in the following years developed an innovative audiovisual live show entitled Phosphenes which blends electronic percussion with controllerism, singing and audioreactive visuals. CZUCHWICKI debuted the Phoshenes AV show in May 2023 and released an EP of the same name in 2024. Now, Phosphenes debuts at the 2025 Adelaide Fringe presented as part of a double headliner with innerælchemist.
